Oregon PERS is one of the most complex pension systems in the country, and even well-informed members often have questions as retirement approaches. Between Tier 1/2 or OPSRP benefits, IAP and OSGP balances, service credit decisions, and benefit option elections, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
Oregon PERS provides helpful resources through its website and call center, and we encourage members to start there. These tools are valuable for understanding how the system works and what options are available. However, PERS staff cannot provide individualized planning or investment advice. When you’ve done the homework and still feel unsure how the pieces fit together, this offering can help.
Consultations focus exclusively on Oregon PERS benefits and related retirement decisions. Sessions are $400 for one hour.
