What is Our Investment Strategy?
Low-cost, passive management, globally diversified mutual funds
Investment options include core, tax-efficient, and ESG/Socially Responsible portfolios. The goal is to keep fees down and returns (both financial and non-financial) up. We partner with GeoWealth for portfolio design and back-office support and use Schwab as our financial custodian.
Knowing your tolerance for risk is one of the pillars of establishing an appropriate investment strategy.
The short quiz below can help spark your thinking about financial risk and reward.

Understanding Our Fee Structure
Transparency and honesty are key pillars of the firm, starting with being upfront about costs. We are a fee-only practice, meaning fees come directly from a mutually agreed-upon arrangement, not commissions.
Ongoing Wealth Management
The size of your portfolio is not necessarily tied to the complexity of your financial life or the resources it takes to garner knowledgeable advice. Most advisors whose fees are based on assets under management charge between 0.8% – 2% annually. On a $1,500,000 account, that would cost $12,000 to $30,000 per year. The larger the account, the higher the fee, even if it isn’t any more work. That’s unfair and illogical, which is why we cap our Wealth Management fees.
